Not Just Any Web Design Company

There are a million web design companies out there. In fact, anyone with a computer and a weekend web development seminar certificate could call themselves such. What made us think that we could compete in such a saturated industry dominated by low-cost overseas developers and large, established Ad agencies?

A little bit of blind faith and a whole lot of discontent with what was out there.

We were bothered by the fact that clients were frustrated by the experience, lack of customer service, and being oversold and under-delivered.

So we did something about it.

hayWire was built around relentless communication and a refined workflow, resulting in momentous project completions.

We celebrate with our clients when they receive distinctions, climb Google rankings, and even when they have cute babies!

We love what we do and would love the chance to show you.

Our Values

Ingrained in every move we make and every action we take.

Client Experience

Client Experience

It may be overstated, but an exceptional experience is one of the things we value the most. As a client, you should feel that working with us is approachable, communicative, collaborative, and most importantly, fun.

Straight-Shooting

Straight-Shooting

Pardon us now, but we’re known for asking hard questions and telling it like it is. Constructive discussions usually lead us to the best results and that’s simply what we want for your business. If you’re looking for a “yes (wo)man” company, unfortunately it won’t be us.

Ongoing Support

Ongoing Support

Even when your project is launched and the last payment has been made, we will still be around. No demoting you to second class simply because your project isn’t active and you can fully expect for us to respond quickly.

Our Team

Cam Vacek
Client Experience Coordinator

Cam is our go-to person for project management, marketing, and copy. Beyond that? She once got 2nd place (first loser) in a high school checkers tournament.

“I got into websites on accident. My boyfriend (now husband) and I were ice skating and we talked about how our favorite restaurant needed a website. So we built them one.”

Maren Hogan
Strategic Lead

Maren Hogan is a seasoned marketer and community builder within the industry. In marketing for over 15 years, she has deep experience in strategic campaigns and a long-term, results-based operational approach.

Erin Olson
Project Coordinator

Erin likes to think of herself as a deep thinker and strategist. Along with living up to her project coordinator duties, she helps with web copy, blogging, and content strategy. A few things that interest her? Music, volleyball, hosting strangers from all over the world on her couch (not as bad as it sounds, promise), and cats. Lots of cats.

“Any pizza is a personal pizza if you believe in yourself.”

Kerry Pivovar
Web Project Manager

Kerry builds websites, full stop. Her ability to see past stated desire into what is needed for the project has created raving fans of our web department. She is one-step away from self-taught, or otherwise known as “Jeremy-taught”.

Matt Stobo
Art Director

Matt’s our designer and branding expert. When he’s not tinkering on the web or drawing for skate/snowboards he’s usually out in the mountains fishing, hiking or camping. He plays music in the local bars and does volunteer work at the local animal shelter. What a great guy.

“Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.” – Steve Jobs (although Matt made it very clear that he is not Steve’s number one fan.)

Richard Bergeron
Web Developer

In Richard’s former life, he was a park ranger looking for a career change. He started dabbling in web development and what started out as a hobby soon became a career. No one gets as excited as Richard when a site is finished and we get to see the reaction from the client. If kids bring parents joy, completed websites bring Richard joy.

“The sticks and branches on the ground in the park aren’t meant for campfires.”

Jeremy Hogan
Web Developer

Jeremy originally joined us to handle website creation and soon became indispensable in every facet of operations, technology, and management. A self-taught coder, he’s built hundreds of websites, but he can’t see fonts.
